Partnering with the MSE Foundation and the Washington Capitals to raise funds and awareness for TAPS.
At the Salute to the Military Night at the Verizon Center, we celebrated the launch of the Courage Caps campaign, sponsored by Telos. 100% of the proceeds of every Courage hat and t-shirt will go directly to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
On Monday of this week, we had the opportunity to host over 120 TAPS survivors at an open skate with the Washington Capitals, as a way to kick-off the Courage program. John Carlson, Connor Carrick and Jack Hillen were great with all of the TAPS kids. For more pictures from the Capitals skating event, visit our Facebook album: Washington Capitals Skate Party for TAPS.
It is an honor to play even a small role in helping members of the TAPS family heal and make new memories after the loss of their loved one. We could not be more proud to partner with the MSE Foundation and the Washington Capitals to raise funds and awareness for TAPS.
Hats and t-shirts are available for purchase at the Verizon Center in section 104, or online at www.washingtoncaps.com/courage.
