John Klemens

John Klemens is technical director of information assurance solutions, where he is responsible for ensuring the business area’s needs are met with regard to the use and integration of IT and IA tools and technologies to provide the right solutions for customers. Prior to assuming this position, John was a business practice director for information assurance, where he was responsible for business development and the supervision of teams performing certifications of government systems in accordance with NIST and OMB guidance.

John, who originally joined Telos in 1991, has also served the company as an engineer. He has worked in similar positions with SRA International, Exodus Communications and Booz Allen Hamilton. John began his career as an officer in the U.S. Army. He earned a B.S. in computer science from Ohio University and an M.S. in information systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology. John is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has been a member of ISC2 since 2000.
